Steps on applying for a passport at Cebu.
Step 1 - Click schedule an appointment at Passport Appointment System
Agreed on terms and condition
Choose individual appointment if you are alone or group if you have a companion
Fill up all data required, once done, they would send you confirmation email, be sure to
confirm immediately.
Once confirmed, download your application form and print in A4 bondpaper
Step 2 - Wait for your appointment date and prepare the requirements. Don't forget to bring the
supporting docs as listed even if you have a valid ID
Step 3 - On your appointment date, it doesn't matter if your schedule time is 3PM, you can
go there in the morning. As long as your name is on list for that particular day, then you
can get inside the DFA. Security personnels are too strict and are doing their job right,
just follow. Prepare to show them the printed application form and they will verify it on
their list.
Step 4 - Once inside, present your docs at the processing counter and they will ask you to sign your
printed application form. It would take from 1-3 minutes at the processing counter if your
requirements are ready then you're good to go.
Step 5 - Proceed to Cashier to pay (less than 1 minute if you have the exact amount)
Step 6 - Go to Encoding Section, present the docs for scanning. They will take your photo also. And
voila! You are done in less than 10 minutes
Passport Fees:
Regular Passport - Php950
Amendment - Php100
Express Processing - Php250
Extension of Passport validity - Php200
For express releasing, you need to pay Php1,200 (950+250)
P.S - for your documentary requirements, please bring a photocopy because they will ask for it at the processing counter. They have xerox machine at 4th floor but the cost is so dollar. Php5 per page.
