Is selling clothes profitable? The answer to that is very obvious. If it's not profitable, then only the big chains of supermarkets are selling clothes and other apparels nowadays. But as you have noticed on facebook and olx, there are so many online sellers. Some are legit and some are scams. If you're one of the prospective buyer, please be careful in buying online. As one of the seller, I was also one of the victims. I was scammed in OLX - have paid Php3500.00 to a certain Angeline Santos but items weren't delivered. The moment I called her number, its no longer available. Tsk tsk....
Anyway, don't be discouraged. In business, taking risk is very important. The whole idea of business itself is a gamble. so, it's either you win or lose. But the bonus is if you're still young....which means that you'll so many years to come to cover-up your loses. Just try and try until you succeed... Take for example, the founders of KFC, MCDonalds, Marriot, Carrier Aircon, SM, Cebu Pacific, National Bookstore - all of them have experienced failure not just once but many times. If they can make it, why can't we, right?
Hmmm, now you feel courageous to start your own business, am I correct? Me, too. That's how I felt after reading their inspiring stories. But then, the road to success in business is not straight..along the way, you will encounter some difficulties and struggles. Just remember to stand up every time you'll fall, if ever time will come that you have to look down, be sure it's just to look and admire your shoes. Fighting!
There are so many small businesses to choose from. I tried selling perfumes and body mist, loads, & direct selling like Avon, Personal Collection, Natasha, MSE. They're all profitable also. If you have no capital for start-up, then direct selling is just perfect. As of now, I'm into selling clothes online and offline. Online means to sell it on facebook, instagram, olx and other online classified ads..and offline means to have a physical store where you can display all your merchandise. It all depends on you.
