My Escapades

Bahia Beach Resort
Bahia seemed to be our favorite place every Saturday night. We usually go there to swim a little. There are 3 pools available in the area: one for those who know how to swim, one for the kids and one for someone like me - still practicing how to swim. Though, it's embarrassing that I never learned how to swim in my childhood/teenage years. But its too late when I realized that swimming is an important skill to learn for survival.
Bahia is kinda old as of 2012. It's located near Imperial palace. Although the place is well maintained, some basic amenities are lacking. Like their shower room, it's not well lighted and you'll be scared when showering alone. Because of the old structures, there might be some insects around. Who knows?
The restaurant " Abuhan Dos" doesn't serve your food immediately. Just imagine when you're hungry from swimming then the food will be served 1-3 hours later. You might suggest that we'll just bring our own foods, but you'll be shocked to know how much is their corkage fee.
But if you're into swimming only, I'll recommend Bahia. It's not that crowded and peaceful. You'll feel relaxed, really. And at least, Bahia accepts MasterCard and visa. But I'm not sure if the restaurant will also accept.

But even if the service is not that good, we still love to go back there and always do. We just don'tgo to Bahia with an empty stomach so that it's only swimming that we're going to do and not bother ourselves with ordering foods. Night swimming is fun but that fun will end at 12midnight as the resort is not open 24 hours.
But it's still worth the try.  Go, go, go.

Malapascua Island
a very beautiful paradise………….its peaceful and not so crowded, so you’ll enjoy swimming more. the locals are also very nice.
Everytime, I visit a friend in Maya, we’ll go to Malapascua if the weather is good or we’ll just stay at Sandoval Beach Resort during windy days. I’m too scared to travel by boat  during windy times.

Just another visit: Malapascua Island

-- went to this island last summer of 2010. I was left alone in the house. My bf went to his hometown to serve the Church as an apostle ( they will visit each house in town that is assigned to them during holy week season). I wasn't mad but I felt very lonely and alone. So, I called my friends that we'll meet at the residence of Jennifer Marikit @ Maya, Daanbantayan Cebu.
--arrived at 1:00 then we set some things to bring in the island. Jennifer has an aunt there so we don't have to rent a room for our accommodation. The house was big enough to accommodate us.
-- been there more than 5 times already but it's still appealing to me. It's not crowded and quite and I just love it. The environment made me feel relaxed and stress-free. How I wish to own an island like Malapascua. It would be great for sure.......... and the sum is also great...and the thought of having one with Jonas around made me shiver......

SANDOVAL RESORT - DAANBANTAYAN CEBU
----photos were taken last December 2006. It's my first time in Jennifer's town. Unfortunately, there was a typhoon named SEnyang that ruined some properties including their newly built nipa hut near the shore at the back of their house.
--- after the typhoon, we went straight to this resort. This one is private and owned by a  rich family in Daanbantayan. Although privately owned, the owner allowed the locals to enjoy the place.
--- in these photos, beach areas seemed untidy because of the leaves and some seaweeds. But on sunny days, it's very clean and well-maintained.
---the sands are very fine and white. You'll surely love it there.

-- picture, picture, right after Typhoon Senyang in December 2005……

sky adventures

----felt relaxed here. In fairness, my knees were shaking as we started walking. I wanted to back-out but it's too late and I'm in the middle of the line. I really had no choice but to finish what we've started. I'm glad that I did, otherwise, I'll surely have missed this wonderful sky experience at Crown Regency - Cebu.

---still managed to smile even if I was so scared. But I wanted to prove to my colleague that I'm not scared at all, just like the rest of the group.

---- another pose but I forgot to smile ---

---- our costumes for skywalk and I love the color----

--- get, set, ready..... GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
